Goooooood Morning!!!
I feel a little weird saying that, because I've started writing my blog posts the night before they go up... it's just easier that way. I hope you all are doing splendid.
I also hope that my butt is freakin' tired when you're reading this. And it better not be tired from sleeping in, but from waking up early and hitting the gym for the first time in about a year.
Yeah... I'll let you know how that goes.
Side note: the MIL found a box of miscellaneous clothing in the garage, and I think my cycling shorts are in there. Happiest day of my life.
Anyway.
I wanted to let you in on a few things that I learned this weekend.
1. Skip-bo is a freakin' fun game.
2. A lot of yard work gets done when it's cooler than 90 degrees outside.
3. Netflix has amazing customer service - season 5 of Burn Notice is on there now, and they emailed us to let us know.
4. Instead of being addicted to Coke 0, I'm now addicted to sparkling water. It's a start, right?
5. Elsha, my August Blog of the Month freakin speaks RUSSIAN. Like, seriously. In her words, enough to get herself "out of jail." Like, hello. Seriously? So. freaking. cool. She's also really funny. And probably doesn't say, "like," or "seriously" as much as I do. And she has a rockin' sense of style. And just donated over half of her hair. And lots of other cool stuff, but you should probably just go check her out to see for yourself. But not till you read her post. She'll tell you lots more reasons that she's awesome.

Good Morning Fans of the amazing Alyx!! I am so excited to be here, literally I think I wet my britches a little when I got the email.
First things first, I'm Elsha from When Mine Became Ours, my little inspiration space in this big old world. 10 months ago I got my first big kid job, which happened to involve sitting at a desk and staring at a computer screen for 10-11 hours a day. Well after Husband noticed the life being sucked out of me he suggested I find something creative to do with all my extra time {did I mention that I commute an hour each way to work everyday? So much free time I tell you}. Hence, little blogger was born.
This is a space for inspiration. It isn't about fashion, it is about whatever moves me, but having grown up with a professional costume designer as a mother no one can blame me for being interested in fashion.
The Man and I just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversay {yesterday!} but don't let that fool you, Joe and I have known each other for....wait for it.....12 years now! We met in our 6th grade math class where he told everyone he had a crush on me and I was dead set on hating him for the rest of my life.
Obviously that didn't work out. It wasn't until the day before he was supposed to leave for Japan for 2 years that I realized I was in love with him. But I'm a Sissy La-la and didn't tell him. So we wrote for two years as I pined after the boy on the other side of the earth. When he got back I forced him to marry me and he's been trying to crush me in my sleep and break my nose with his super quick arms swings in the middle of the night ever since.
I remember our first month being married, and all the madness that came with it. Here are a few things I learned that my husband expected out of me that I didn't even know were possible during those first few weeks:
1. I should be able to lift a couch, walk, and take directions at the same time. False
2. I should have a sense of humor he punches me in the face, steam rolls me, and then laughs in my face and I beg for air. All at 2 o'clock in the morning, while he is completely asleep.
3. A wife should know how to cook a dinner besides granola bars and cheese sticks. Say what?
4. I have to talk about my feelings. LAME!
and finally
5. I should know the name, shape, family, and place of every tool in the whole entire world. Which I don't, and he does.
Thank you readers, and thank you Alyx for welcoming me into your abode!

Haha enough to get out of jail, always a plus. I love Burn Notice! I feel like I'm earning credits in spy school every time I watch an episode.

blahhhh sparkling water, haha ;)
Elisha is so cute, following her now!!
Love this post. You go girl with the sparkling water : ) I am addicted to iced green tea!
xo
When I was pregnant with Walker I craved Coke every single day. And I'm still craving it.....
Burn Notice! We watched three episodes of season 5 last night! Whoop! Lovin' it!
I don't think I've ever played that game!
I LOVE that water! So much better for you than pop!
Ah! Thanks Alyx! I need to get your button so I can wear it with pride :)
Skip-bo is awesome. Such a fun game! And that reminds me, I should get off of my computer and go to the gym. I was planning to do so today...
I LOVE her polka dot top and the belt! Beautiful!!!
She is absolutely gorgeous (and interesting!) I will definitely be taking a peek at her blog!
I also make my posts the evening before and it's a bit weird but you get used to it. Sometimes I write the entire weeks over the weekend (NO LIFE!)
Have a great week Alyx!
I do NOT need to be adding more tv shows to my list but I do really like Burn Notice. Sigh... so much tv, so little time
Skip-bo IS a fun game! I'm also catching up on Burn Notice right now! I feel like I could be a spy after watching each episode! So educational! LOL
xo
I hope you made it to the gym!! I'll be super proud if you did!
Also, this is the first time with SkipBo?! Sad day I played that game all the time at my job with the kids afterschool program ;) I could beat their butts so fast mwahahahaha
And way cute featured blogger!
It takes a lot to make me read a sponsor post all the way through and to click over to their blog but it was definitely achieved here! Elsha, you are hilarious (much like Alyx the Great) and I love your writing style! :) Great pick Alyx!

Ha ha! We just saw that email about Burn Notice this morning and we are kinda excited about it!
I've NEVER played skip-bo! Gonna have to try it now!
Mmm I love sparkling water, so yummy!
And I want to steal Elsha's hair. Is that weird? It's so pretty!
Seriously, I need to make the change from Diet Coke to sparkling water!!!
YAYYY BIKE SHORTS!!!! :)
(I surprised none of the other comments have addressed the fact that YOUR BIKE SHORTS HAVE BEEN FOUND!)
I did a morning workout today as well! It must be a twin thing. Good work on getting back to the gym again. Proud of you!
Bike shorts!!!! It's always a good day when you find the comfy ones. I have a pair of tri shorts that are super thin and awful... and I always cringe when I have to wear those instead of my awesome Sugois. Yeah, I just bike nerded all over your comments. Get excited.
I want to do yard work. Can I come over? Conversely... there's an awesome music festival in Fort Collins this weekend, you could come here. You deserve a reward for having a grown up job. Just saying.
I love sparkling water. I like to add it to my juice.
Ooo, skip-bo? Never heard of it. But I'm always on the lookout for a new, fun board/card game so if you say it rocks, I'm putting it on my list of things to try.
Also, I'm very proud of you for replacing your old addiction with a new one! :) (But really I am; it's way healthier). Look at you: owning your own house, working in an office, and guzzling seltzer. You're such an adult ;)

Good for you making the switch to sparkling water!
And Burn Notice.. man Alyx! You've already gotten my husband and I hooked on White Collar (thanks for that by the way) and now you're going on about this Burn Notice show so of course I'm going to have to check it out.
Doesn't being en expat make you feel like you're from another planet or something??? #outoftheloop
What a fun bloggette of the month. I'll definitely be checking that out. I.have sadly never played that boardgame...but love them...soooo competitive!
Rosie xx

Hi Everyone,
I'm from United Kingdom London, City(GB). I met this spell caster called Dr IyaryI of driayaryi2012@hotmail.com online and so many other, but i decided to go with this particular spell caster and this is about 2 weeks ago.I needed the spell caster to reunite me and my lover because she started behaving strange and a day came she text me and told me she cannot continue with the relationship anymore, that she just want to be alone. But a close friend of hers shows the guy to me that she was now dating. So i contacted this spell caster because i was totally heart broken and i smoked and get drunk till i could not even notice if am standing or lying. This spell caster told me not to worry, he gave me hope that am to have her again just like old times, and i provided all the requirements, and in just 5 days, my ex lover called me crying over the phone asking for me to forgive her for her stupid act, and she swore with her mother grave to love me and never hurt me again. This was what the spell caster earlier told me and it came after he has done the spell and that same night, my lover came back to the house to me. I have never seen spell as powerful as this but now, am convinced that Dr IyaryI is the best ever, You can contact him through him email address: driayaryi2012@hotmail.com or driayaryi2012@hotmail.com or And also Reach him on WhatsApp Number: +2349057915709 Thanks Dr. IyaryI
