You all know how this works, so get going!!
2. I've decided I have the cutest baby in the world. I mean, really. I just can't get enough of her (and I believe that every mommy thinks her baby is the cutest - it's just natural).
3. I'm NOT ready for school to start. I have orientation all this week, and I'm sort of freaking out a little bit. What was I thinking?! Going back to school to get a master's with a 3-month-old? I must be on crack.
4. I finally figured out what my favorite animal is! I've never really known what to say when people ask what my favorite animal is, but after going to the zoo yesterday, I finally decided that I love giraffes. They are the best!
5. My brain is totally not functioning right now. Like, it's a huge pile of mush. Mushy gushy mushy gush mush.
What do you have to confess?
PS: I haven't read more than 5 blog posts in the past two weeks, and I don't think I've commented on any, so if I haven't visited you lately, please don't be offended! My life is a big ole pile of crazy trash right now!!

School starts for me MONDAY. Like, tomorrow! I'm so sad. School is a huge burden on anyone, but I cannot even fathom it with a baby! But ya know what? You are one of the strongest people I know so YOU CAN DO IT :)
My only confession right now is that I'm so jet lagged that I'm having trouble standing up right without swaying.
For me, school starts September 23rd and it feels so far from now and I'm actually almost sick of being home, I haven't been to school since the end of April. Is there anything like 'schoolsick' instead of 'homesick'?
Oh, and don't tell me about blogging hiatus. I returned from a trip on Friday morning and I haven't been able to sit down and write a post since then. Right when I thought I was back to blogging, I'm realising that 'no' is the answer.
I'm not going back to school, but my sister starts college this week and it's just WEIRD. My little brother became a junior in high school on Friday, also WEIRD.
Good luck going back to school with the bambina. Feel free to text me out of crazy-ness whenever.
I just read about this hotel in Africa where giraffes stick their heads in your room in the morning to be fed! Wouldn't that be the coolest way to wake up?!
Honestly, I'm really eager to see how you conquer Masters + baby. I might wind up doing the same thing. Sending so many good vibes your way!!!
Giraffes really are awesome! I am also in love with okapis!
Hey Alyx,
Love your blog. Good luck with school! In my med class there are several students with young children; one just had a newborn this summer. I'm sure you'll do great.
Take Care! Would love it if you checked out my website. I post some fahsion pics :)

Master's degree?! Props to you woman! That is awesome, you can do it! I went to the zoo this past week, the boys loved the giraffes. You do have such a cute angel on your hands! Happy Sunday!
I get out of the blogging groove and fail to either write new posts or visit other blogs...it happens to all of us! Sometimes you just need a little break.
You are AMAZING! And totally crazy. But you will kick butt at being the BEST mom AND killing it at school! Seriously. Having an angel baby makes all the difference :)
And someday you better blog about coming to Utah ;)
I definitely don't miss having to get back into the school groove... although I know I do eventually need to go back and get my Bachelor's, ugh.
P.S. I'm giving away 5 sponsor spots this week on my blog and I'd love for you to come and enter!
No. 3 - Way to go you! You can do it!!! :)
giraffes are kinda cute! and re: #3 -- you can do it!! that's pretty amazing!
